Lace-Up or Velcro on a gold glove?
Lace-Up keeps a clean line against the metallic surface and gives the firmest wrist hold, which is why many boxers choose it for fight cards and filmed sparring. Velcro trades a little of that lockdown for speed, so you can strap in alone between rounds.
Keeping the shine
Metallic finishes dislike water. Wipe the gloves with a soft dry cloth after each session, air-dry them with the cuff open, and avoid sprays or damp wipes. Treated this way, the gold stays bright far longer than it would with regular cleaning.

Most amateur events supply red or blue gloves, so gold is best for training, exhibitions and photos. Check your event rules.
What kit matches all-gold gloves?
Black or white shorts let the gold lead; black wraps and headgear keep the look sharp.
How is this different from the elastic band gold pair?
This is the standard cuff. The Gold Elastic Band gloves share the finish but add an elastic band wrist design.
Size & fit
Glove weight is about what you do with them, not just how big your hands are. Most adults train in 14oz and spar in 16oz.
