Which size NBNL glove do I need?

  • 6oz-10oz: speed, pad and mitt work, and smaller hands
  • 12oz-14oz: heavy bag and general training, and the best first pair for most beginners
  • 16oz: the standard adult sparring weight in most US and UK gyms
  • 18oz: sparring for heavier boxers, or extra protection for a training partner

Lace-Up or Velcro?

Lace-Up wraps the wrist tightest and suits sparring and coached sessions. Velcro (hook and loop) lets you glove up alone in seconds and suits solo bag work and classes. The Black & Silver and Multi-Cross White models are lace-up only.

Caring for metallic and light-colored gloves

Wipe metallic finishes with a soft dry cloth, not water. Wipe white and light leather after every session. Air-dry gloves open and store them out of direct sun to protect the color.

No Boxing No Life Boxing Gloves FAQ

What does NBNL stand for?

NBNL is short for No Boxing No Life, a boxing glove brand known for bold colorways, metallic finishes and bear-graphic designs.

Which NBNL glove is best for a beginner?

A 12oz or 14oz pair in a darker colorway such as Red & Black or Black & Gold. It hides wear and covers bag and pad work; add a 16oz pair when you start sparring.

Do you ship NBNL gloves to the USA, UK, Europe and Canada?

Yes. Shipping costs and delivery times for your country are shown at checkout before you pay.

Are NBNL metallic gloves only for show?

No. Metallic pairs train like any other NBNL glove. The finish just needs a dry cloth rather than water to keep its shine.

How do I tell the bear editions apart?

They share the NBNL bear graphic in different colors: Maroon & Lime Green and Yellow & Metallic Red are the warm pairs, Blue & Silver is the cool pair, and Black & Yellow is the high-contrast dark pair.
