If you train four or five times a week, a black glove makes life easy. Sweat marks, chalk and bag scuffs barely show, so the gloves keep their clean look far longer than lighter colours.
First pair advice
For a first pair, 12oz or 14oz suits most beginners for bag and pad work. If you plan to start sparring soon, go straight to 16oz so you only buy once. Velcro is easiest for beginners; lace-up suits those who spar with a coach on hand.
