Most boxing gloves are chosen to blend in. Yellow is chosen to be found. These Cleto Reyes yellow gloves are among the brightest pairs in the range, and the color does real work in training, not just in the photos.
Three situations where yellow earns its place
- Filmed rounds. Bright leather separates cleanly from a dark floor and dark walls, so a coach reviewing footage can follow your hand position frame by frame.
- Crowded gyms. If five people own black gloves, only one owns yellow. No more grabbing the wrong pair from the rack.
- Pad work. A holder can read your hands at a glance, which helps timing drills.
Sizing and closure
Choose from 6oz, 8oz, 10oz, 12oz, 14oz, 16oz, 18oz, each in Lace-Up or Velcro. For a first pair, 12oz Velcro is the most forgiving all-rounder. If you spar regularly, 16oz Lace-Up is the standard setup.
Will yellow look worn quickly?
Light colors show marks more than dark ones, and yellow fades faster in direct sunlight. A quick wipe after use and a bag instead of a sunny window sill keeps it bright. If you want the high-visibility look with less maintenance, the Orange pair is a good alternative, and the Lime Green is the brightest of all.

What wraps go with yellow gloves?
Black wraps give the strongest contrast; white wraps keep the look lighter.

Lime green is the brighter neon option; yellow is a warmer, classic bright color.
Size & fit
Glove weight is about what you do with them, not just how big your hands are. Most adults train in 14oz and spar in 16oz.

Care tips
- Wear hand wraps. They protect your hands and keep sweat out of the lining.
- Open the gloves and let them air-dry after every session. Don’t leave them zipped in your bag.
- Wipe the leather with a damp cloth. Keep them away from heaters and direct sun.
