Most sparring kits are red, blue or black. This one is not. The No Boxing No Life Metallic Purple & White Boxing Set pairs a reflective purple with clean white panels, so your gloves, headgear and groin guard look like they were made to go together, because they were.

Picking a glove weight
The weight you choose applies to the gloves in the set. Most adults spar in 16oz. Pick 18oz if you are a heavyweight or spar bigger partners, and 12oz to 14oz if the gloves will mainly see pads and the bag. 6oz to 10oz suits younger or lighter boxers.
Looking after a metallic finish
Wipe the purple panels with a dry cloth after each session and let all three pieces air out, open, away from direct sun. Keeping water off the metallic surface keeps the shine.

- Open the gloves and let them air-dry after every session. Don’t leave them zipped in your bag.
- Wipe the leather with a damp cloth. Keep them away from heaters and direct sun.
