Three red & black sets: which is this one?
NBNL makes this colourway in three versions. This is the open-face set, for boxers who value vision and feel. The Elite set swaps in a face guard for more cover, and the Dual Headgear set gives you both styles of headguard.
Best use
Technical sparring, conditioning rounds and pad work. Open-face headgear is popular with experienced boxers who want to see punches coming early and slip them.
Glove weight guide
16oz is the standard sparring weight for adults. Choose 18oz for heavier boxers, 14oz for lighter sparring partners, and 10oz to 12oz if the gloves are mainly for bag work.
Care
Wipe the metallic red with a dry cloth and keep it out of the rain. Air out the headgear and groin guard after every session.

Is red a corner colour?
Red is the classic red-corner colour, though the metallic finish and black panels make this primarily a training and sparring kit. Check your event rules before competing.
Can I buy just the gloves?
Yes. NBNL gloves are also sold as single pairs in the gloves collection.
Size & fit
Glove weight is about what you do with them, not just how big your hands are. Most adults train in 14oz and spar in 16oz.

- Wear hand wraps. They protect your hands and keep sweat out of the lining.
- Open the gloves and let them air-dry after every session. Don’t leave them zipped in your bag.
- Wipe the leather with a damp cloth. Keep them away from heaters and direct sun.
